DAY

Considering the fact that life only seems to be getting busier, I wanted to showcase how important I think footwear choice can be. Today I’ve partnered with Cole Haan and ShopRunner to showcase the GRAND collection and how it’s the perfect everyday footwear. Long gone are the days of sacrificing comfort for style. It’s so nice to feel confident in something that’s going to work really well for a daytime outfit at the office or running around town.

These new Zerogrand Chukka Boots (shop them through the link) from Cole Haan are so great because they’re stylish enough to work perfectly in a business casual outfit but the sole feels like a sneaker. They feel like I’ve owned them for years and this was the first time I wore them. With offices getting more and more casual, having something like this to elevate your style more than a sneaker can is so nice.

I work from home, so I’ll admit that some days I’m lazy and end up working in sweatpants and a tee, but on the days when I want to feel extra productive, I go for a look like this. Slim chinos, a nice button up shirt, and a functional unstructured blazer. It makes me feel like a million bucks. I’m never concerned with being underdressed at a meeting, but I also don’t feel like I’m going to make people uncomfortable by being overdressed. It’s a smart way to style yourself if you want to boost your motivation.

Would some minimal sneakers work with this outfit? Sure. Do these chukka boots work to make it a bit more dressy and yet still just as comfortable? 100%. If you’re looking for something that can do it all, look no further. A flexible shoe like this is gong to be tough to beat for me when it comes to stylish functionality.

I’m not joking when I say they feel like you’re wearing a sneaker. If you live in the city and you have to run to make your train, these will be much better than an actual pair of hard bottomed dress shoes or boots. If you work in an environment where you spend a lot of time on your feet, these will be better on your back and your knees. When it comes to daytime looks for the busy person, a shoe like this is top notch!

NIGHT

You killed it at the office all day, now it’s time to let loose and enjoy yourself during the evening. This is an outfit that is extremely stylish but also nothing that’s too intense. It will be comfortable and flexible for whatever you have going on.

This pair of Zerogrand Oxfords from Cole Haan (shop them through the link) are a perfect shoe for a night out because they’re lightweight and comfortable, but also look a bit more formal thanks to the color palette and the design.

Styled with a pair of tailored trousers, these will let you feel like you’re standing on a cloud but dressed to the 9’s. The dark grey is a really nice color for the evening. It’s subtle and approachable but also kind of badass thanks to the all black sole.

Every guy needs a great leather jacket, and styling it over a clean white button up shirt is a statement move that is doable for anyone. Whether it’s grabbing drinks with buddies or meeting your person for a date night, you’ll be turning heads in all of the right ways in a look like this.

Dressing up doesn’t need to feel stuffy or uncomfortable. For me, it always starts with the right footwear. If my feet are comfortable, I’m just more relaxed. I feel better. Cole Haan’s GRAND line seriously kills it with this. I always feel great because I know I look good but I’m also in a shoe that isn’t going to give me any blisters.

If you’re interested in checking out Cole Haan, you should sign up for ShopRunner so you can always get free 2-day shipping and free returns. I can’t imagine you won’t like the shoes, but if you need to swap sizes, it can be done quickly and easily.
