Yes…that’s right…man cleavage. It’s beginning to look a lot like summer out there, boys. As the weather heats up, less buttons are needing to be buttoned. This post is my way of making it known that the wide open linen shirt isn’t just something reserved for the late 70’s and early 80’s…it’s alive and well.

I love this shirt. It was originally a long sleeve collared shirt from Banana Republic that’s 100% linen and I doctored it a bit so it now has “pirate sleeves” and no collar. It’s one of the most comfortable shirt I own due to it’s baggy fit and crazy soft material. Having several buttons undone is a great move for the daytime or nighttime alike this spring/summer. Not only does it allow you to stay cool and refreshed but it also gives you an awesome chance to wear a cool necklace or two, like this one from Urban Outfitters. Accessorizing is key in the summertime because of how few articles of clothing there are to work with, so you might as well take advantage any way that you can.

Paired with these great shorts from Farah and my very worn in purple Vans Authentic, it’s a summer getup that leaves me feeling like I just walked off the sandy shore, which is always a good thing in my book.

What are some of your favorite ways to stay cool in spring and summer??

Thanks for reading!
