How would you like to learn something new? I hope your answer was yes. Did you know that the optimal body temperature is 37.5 degrees celsius? Well neither did I until I found out about this new line from Kenneth Cole New York being sold through Zappos, Techni-Cole with 37.5 technology. It uses a special type of material to maintain your foot temperature to as close to 37.5 degrees celsius no matter what conditions you’re in. It’s able to warm you up or cool you down, all through the use of fibers that recognize temperature. It’s pretty awesome!

Not only do they feel great, but this pair that I just recently got from Zappos also look pretty cool too. The chunkier midsole is a bit different than something you might see in other dress shoe styles. Also, the rubber bottom makes them extremely comfortable and easy to wear on all sorts of different surfaces. I love the monochromatic color scheme, so I wanted to stick with it for the rest of my outfit.

When you decide to go with all black and white, a flannel under an unstructured blazer works great. It’s warm, but also still stylish in a fall appropriate way. Also, don’t forget that a bandana makes for a great pocket square if you don’t want to dress too formally. This type of look works in a ton of different settings, whether it’s a casual Friday at the office or a weekend night out with friends.

I wanted to add just a touch of color, so the purple socks were a great addition without drawing too much attention. Also, these pants are a bit cropped so the sock shows really well. I’d consider this outfit on the dressier side of casual. It’s extremely comfortable thanks to the shoes and flannel. Don’t sleep on dress shoes during winter, guys. They can be used in a lot of different ways that aren’t always with a suit and tie.

If you’re into the shoes, be sure to check out Kenneth Cole New York on Zappos. They have designs that are a bit more traditional, as well as stuff like these that are a bit out of the ordinary. If you’re looking for gift ideas for the guy in your life, then I’d highly recommend something that’s technical and will ensure maximum 37.5 degree comfort.
