A lot of people that I talk to hold onto a similar setback when it comes to dressing well, budget. Obviously we’re in the midst of a global pandemic and life can be tough, but thankfully Walmart is putting out brands like Free Assembly. Having affordable, highly stylish pieces is a game changer when it comes to looking and feeling good.

I had the chance to style two different looks from the Free Assembly collection. First off, this extremely comfortable Japanese inspired outfit.

One of my favorite style moves lately has been layering over a graphic or striped tee like this one. It adds a bit of dimension to your look when you top it off with a plain chambray shirt like this light blue one. Plus, if you want to present a bit more dressy, you can just button up the shirt a bit and tuck it in.

For fall, I’ve really been enjoying moving away from jeans and into other styles of pants. These olive green fatigue pants are a play on a classic military uniform and are actually a lot more comfortable and lightweight than a pair of heavier denim would be. By cuffing them a bit, I allow my sock to show and balance out the outfit with some other earth tones.

Overall, it’s a very approachable look that is very stylish without being overly bold. What do you think??

As the weather inevitably ends up cooling down, slightly heavier layers are in order. Firstly, I wanted to showcase the versatility of the Free Assembly chambray shirt and how it can easily be worn under a jacket to add a slightly more dressy vibe to your outfits. Buttoning up all the way to the neck is a move I’ve been pulling for a few years and still really enjoy it, too.

Another great way to feel unique this fall and winter is with a piece of outerwear that’s a little bit different than what you’ll see everyone wearing. This olive green Free Assembly Fishtail Parka is lightweight enough to not make you sweat in the early fall, but also heavy enough to easily layer into an outfit where you want to stay a bit warmer. If you’re wanting to turn some heads without breaking the bank, grab a jacket like this and watch the compliments come in!

Again, pushing yourself away from the comfort of jeans and into some new styles of pants like these dark gray drawstring Utility Pants is a move that will allow you to look great while also expanding your style capabilities. Throw them on with a comfortable pair of boots and you’ll be looking rugged, masculine, and comfortable all-in-one.

Just remember, getting dressed in fall and winter can be really fun if you put some thought into how you’re crafting your outfits. Don’t just rush to throw on the same comfortable sweatshirt and coat. Mix and match different things, especially when you can grab these affordable pieces from Free Assembly at Walmart. Once you realize how fun it is to start creating new looks for yourself, your self confidence will go up and life will be a little bit better during these difficult times.
