*this post is in partnership with Macy’s, but as always, I wouldn’t be sharing if I didn’t love it myself!

With V-Day right around the corner, it’s time to get prepared. Obviously getting your significant other something special is important to make them feel good, but don’t neglect yourself. Whether it’s what you ask for from your person or even if it’s a little #treatyoself moment, a great cologne is always a smart choice. Macy’s has a TON of great options. They even have an awesome new online fragrance experience to help you decide which of their selections is best for you! You can take the quiz HERE.

Cologne is one of those things that can set you apart from everyone else. A signature scent can draw your person closer to you or leave a lasting impression once you’re gone – just don’t go overboard!

My personal favorite for V-Day this year is Polo Red. Not only is the color totally perfect, but the scent itself is an awesome mixture of classic masculinity with hints of red wood and amber as well as a bit of red grapefruit and cherry for a citrusy note.

A couple of sprays to the neckline, one to the wrist, and you’re out the door. That ought to be plenty to give off a great scent without being offensive to people’s sense of smell. If you’re in the market for a new fragrance to try or if you’re new to fragrances in general, I would highly recommend checking this one out.

Give a gift that leaves an impression – even if it’s to yourself. Not only will your person enjoy it as it makes them feel more masculine, but you’ll get to reap the benefits as well!
