So you say you want to get in shape but consistently find yourself hiding behind the excuse of time, eh? Join the club. Working out is downright annoying sometimes, I know. One potential cause is that it takes up a lot of time that could be spent doing more fun or productive things, right? Not anymore! My friend Nathan introduced me to this new 7 Minute Workout app and it’s honestly helped out so much.

Personally, I go through spurts when it comes to working out. Sometimes I’m really into it and make time for it every day. Other times I’m over it and would rather be doing just about anything else. Thanks to this app, I can squeeze in a workout almost anywhere, anytime. It’s 12 body weight exercises ranging from push-ups to squats that you perform for 30 seconds, followed by a 10 second rest. The entire sequence takes only 7 minutes and works your whole body. It’s an awesome way to jumpstart your day or boost your energy after a heavy lunch.

Seven minutes isn’t enough time to drastically improve your fitness, however it’s a great way to boost your heart rate and get yourself breathing. I’d recommend it for days when you planned on working out but life gets in the way. It’s a fun workout that’s strenuous and quick, what every good workout should be. The app is free in the app store.
