Having had an awesome Memorial Day weekend, I wanted to show off a new thing I’ve been trying lately, the summer scarf. I think it’s safe to say that the weather has turned for the better in the majority of the USA by now. Summer can be tough because once it gets very hot, all I want to do is wear a tee and shorts but once the sun goes down (as people never realize prior to packing for LA) it gets cold!!

This lightweight scarf is a cotton and linen blend from my Mom’s shop in Cincinnati called Agricola Redesign. They have tons of cool stuff for your house and otherwise. Also my Mom is a boss at redesigning interiors if you’re looking for a fresh look in your home or office. Worn over my lightweight chambray shirt from Gap, these cropped trousers from Urban and my brown Aldo wing tip boots, it’s a casual and fun summer night outfit. I also love the Summer Scarf because of how often I go out during the summertime, get to my destination and realize that I’m going to be spending my whole night outside. The scarf is great for warmth and style.

Don’t be afraid to try something different this summer, dudes. If it’s totally outrageous, you might ruffle some feathers, beware. That’s ok, though because after a month or two, when those same people are following the trend you started, you’ll have their respect.

What do you think of the Summer Scarf?

Stay happy, my friends!
