I want to be better about sharing music artists or groups that I enjoy so that it will force me to find new music, but for tonight, I’m going to showcase Chester French.
This 2-man band is composed of lead vocalist D.A. Wallace and drummer Max Drummey. They’re both graduates of Harvard, where they met and formed the band. I term their style “Doo-Pop” because they have a very retro vibe but are also very pop based and modern. They’re one of those bands that I stumbled across back in the days of MySpace and have been totally into ever since.

They’ve released two full length albums as well as a really cool mixtape. The second album, Music 4 Tngrs, is my personal favorite.

Check out this link to a funny video for their song “Drop”
You’ll love these guys, they’re impossible to hate.
Thanks for reading!

I hail from the Midwest but have been dwelling in Los Angeles for the last few years being a pretty stereotypical west coast transplant. I'm a fashion geek, I love to walk (a LOT) and I do my best to find the bright side. I'm extremely excited about this blog and hope that (with some hard work and luck) it turns into what I believe it can.
