Dinosaur socks! I’m feeling a little crazy today. The weather’s nice, I did some rapping (www.thick7.com) and overall am feeling good, so I decided to bust out one of my favorite pair of socks.

Fun dress socks are essential as far as I’m concerned because they’re the perfect way to broadcast your mood without metaphorically slapping people in the face with the color or design of your more predominant items. I got these at Urban Outfitters. They have tons of other fun options, some of which I’m sure you’ll be seeing at one point or another in my posts.

It’s “winter” in LA, and I’m taking full advantage by layering up a lightweight Zara sweater underneath my vintage double breasted trench coat. Also, these chino pants by Hawkings McGill are a great alternative to jeans, even giving the vibe that they might be denim, which they’re not. I oftentimes still go for the cuffed pant legs in winter because it better showcases my sock choice. The rolled cuff is pretty commonplace these days, even the least fashion forward can pull it off without any worry of standing out or feeling uncomfortable.

Lastly, the classic Adidas Samba is the perfect shoe for any guy who’s looking to transition from bulky high-top sneakers into a more low-profile “grown man” type look. They’re crazy comfortable and compliment most any outfit. Not to mention you can jump on the indoor soccer field at any time and be ready to go!! (that happens a lot, right?)

Thanks for reading! Look out for a major blog renovation in the next several weeks! New look and new name!
