Casual Friday! I’m gonna start theming my posts for each day of release, hope you guys are into it.

So as I’ve shown, denim is one my of true loves, but I’m in the process of trying to expand my roster of non-jeans. I scored these sweet J. Crew trousers at the factory store over the holidays and have been itching to bust them out. The subtle pattern is an awesome touch to a casual outfit that goes unnoticed unless people really look, which I love. Casual chinos are another awesome alternate to jeans. They fit slightly differently and can honestly be more comfortable if you find the right pair.

One of the best pieces of advice I can give to any guy trying to improve his style is to start getting fashionable when casual. With so many brands pumping out amazingly comfortable, well-cut basics, it’s easy to dress yourself stylishly casual if you’re ballin’ or on a budget. Not to mention it shows that you’re serious about looking your best because you’re avoiding the oversized junk that doesn’t fit you.

I combined the scarf for some of the shots because in the mild-winter or early spring months, a scarf can make all the difference in the world. Not only will it set you apart just that slight bit, but it will keep you warmer and more comfortable.

A plain tee, cardigan or jacket, casual trousers and low-pro sneakers. That’s all you need to look AND feel good. Looking good on Casual Friday has never been easier, so ditch the baggy suit pants and oversized button up for some well-fitting trousers and a sweater.

You looked good Monday through Thursday, keep the ball rolling into the weekend!

Thanks for reading!
