Face it, if you don’t already have some chelsea boots, you’re missing out. They’re comfortable, stylish, versatile, and just freakin’ cool! What other reasons do you need?? I just got this new pair from Shoeology NYC. They’re an awesome brand based in SoHo, NY who’s involved in the full process of creation to sales of their product, which means they’re able to avoid a lot of the extra costs that other brands deal with and keep prices as low as possible.

Chelseas are one of, if not the most popular boot style right now and I want to talk today about how to style them in the summer time. So popular is it that this style is slowing enchroaching onto even work boots acquirable from places like https://workbootworx.com/. A lot of times people immediately reach for sneakers, boat shoes, flip flops, or some other type of lighter shoe in the summer, which is understandable. I’m here to show you that you shouldn’t forget about your boots. It’s scientifically proven that they increase masculinity by 63% (not based on any actual facts).

Here’s what you’ll need…

Chelsea Boots

Oftentimes, I start my outfit selection process from the shoes first. I probably don’t have to tell you this but I’m somewhat of a skinny pretty boy. I don’t exactly scream masculinity when I walk into the room. If you also struggle with this, there are moves you can be making in your style choices to increase your masculine vibes. Chelsea boots are a great example. They’re sturdy but stylish. Ultimately, it’s about making yourself feel manly because you’re going to exude how you feel inside. Put on some boots, it’ll cause you to carry yourself in a slightly different way. Don’t let other people dictate how you feel about yourself, it should come from within.

Worn-In Denim

Continuing on up from the shoes, grab some comfortable worn-in denim. I would recommend something slimmer that just barely covers the ankle of the boot. You don’t want your cuff to be too billowy around the top of your shoe. A well worn-in pair of jeans are also going to boost your confidence because they’re familiar to you, they’re extremely comfortable. You’ll feel like a better version of yourself because the boots and the jeans work so well together. There’s a reason Bruce Springsteen’s (kids, google him) called the boss and this was his go-to look.

You’ll be so comfortable in your own skin, you won’t even mind sitting on some stairs!

Vintage Tee

Next, grab a comfortable vintage tee. I love this shirt so much. It’s old and ridiculously comfortable. It hugs my torso in all of the right places. If you don’t own a go-to soft vintage tee, start shopping for one. It’s a perfect piece to round out a casual summer look.

It’s pretty easy to look a little bit…let’s say soft…in shorts and polo shirts, so a look like this is a great way to stay stylish, comfortable, and manly in the spring and summer. Also, you can throw on a lightweight denim jacket, blazer, or flannel shirt and head out for a night with the guys or to a casual BBQ. Also, if you switch your tee, it’s basically a completely new look. You could even throw on a linen shirt to dress it up a bit. Man, I love versatility!
