Happy Hump Day, guys! It’s been a great week for me so far and I hope you can say the same for yourselves. I’m going to be rolling out some slightly more structured features to the blog and social media pages very soon. We’ve been hard at work with structuring new ideas and networking alike. Stay tuned!

For today, I wanted to share an outfit that’s multi-faceted. As things progress for me and I start to take more meetings with fellow bloggers and brands, my days are becoming totally packed and I’m getting my first taste of being away from the house all day like most of you probably are every day while working your well paying, adult man’s jobs. This being said, it’s requiring me to think ahead with what I have planned in my day and dress appropriately. In a world rife with happy hour meetings after work and first dates on a Tuesday, an outfit that’s dressy enough for work that can also be dressed down at 5 (or more likely 6, you hard worker, you!) is necessary and easily doable.

Let’s start from the ground up. These ‘Chelsea’ style boots from Steve Madden are a perfect pair of shoes for dressing up or down. They’re comfortable enough to wear all day and inconspicuous enough to wear with jeans or even a tuxedo (yes, I’ve done it). A nice pair of boots will go a long way when taking you from work to nightlife seamlessly.

Next, these Levi’s trousers were such a great buy for me because they wear comfortably, but also can be turned up on the fancy scale depending on how you surround them. Non-denim pants are more common than ever, dudes, so go score yourself a couple of pairs in off colors and watch your wardrobe capabilities exponentially expand.

Up top, I’m wearing an ultra comfortable linen shirt from Gap, a three piece vest with a hint of detail in the pinstripes and covered pockets also from Gap, and a lightweight linen blazer from H&M. It is spring, guys, so don’t forget linen is more acceptable now than ever. The shirt buttoned all the way to the top adds a hint of class as well so hopefully you can forget about needing a tie (or go ahead and wear one, totally fine). I realize that a lot of you may have to wear a full suit to work, but this look would be acceptable in most areas of business that I’ve come across in today’s business casual world.

By losing the jacket, unbuttoning the shirt and rolling the sleeves a bit, I’ve gone from boardroom to bar in no time at all. You’re still in a great outfit that remains stylish enough to impress your first date or comfortable enough to dominate your friends in darts (trust me, I’d know).

What are some of your favorite ways to multiply your outfit’s capabilities??

Stay happy, my friends. (thinking about making this my new sign off catch phrase. Thoughts? It’s a total Dos Equis/Anchorman ripoff, I know)
