Guys, don’t I look like Christian Grey?? Ok, maybe just because I’m wearing all grey, but still…haha.
As you saw in my last post, I’ve decided to start dressing more monochromatically. Not only does it look cool but I think it’s really fun to dress this way too. If you do it with an earth tone rather than something brighter, it’s not gonna make you stick out like a sore thumb but you’ll still make it obvious that you know what you’re doing.
Here, I’m wearing my new crewneck, slightly oversized sweatshirt from Gap. It’s part of their “lived in” line that I cannot get enough of lately. The line includes all different types of pieces and has the feel of a piece that you borrowed from a friend that’s been worn several times before. I’ve combined it with a button up from Vans and these super comfy jeans from H&M. Don’t forget that it doesn’t always have to be your outermost layer that you tie around your waist. You can just as easily pop into the bathroom to throw it on if the weather shifts.
Also combined with my black wingtip boots from Aldo and the all black Timex, it has a look suitable for errands or a night out with friends.
Plus my gray hairs add another shade! So monochrome it’s sick.
How do you create a monochromatic look? Is this something you’d wear?
