I had a blast running around Downtown LA yesterday with my girls Jaclyn and Luca. We went to check out Angel City Brewery, located at 216 Alameda Street, which is amazing! They have several beers on tap, five of which I tried in the flight pictured. The environment is totally cool, open spaces, cornhole, darts, plenty of seating…I highly recommend checking it out for an afternoon or night out.

The Alameda area of downtown is a total gem. Tons of great restaurants and shopping are available to peruse and the people watching is pretty great too. DTLA is always a hotspot for local street artists to show off their paintings and other installations as well. You can see a couple pictured. The neighborhood as a whole has a cool aura about it that feels creative and free. If you haven’t been, go!

It was a bit chilly yesterday when considering the wind and overcast weather, so I decided to layer it up. This shawl collar sweater from Urban Outfitters is one of the most comfortable pieces that I own and I take full advantage of pairing it with any outfit I can. I love that it adds a unique pop of color in an otherwise dark outfit. A good shawl collared sweater should be in every man’s arsenal as a top piece in the fall or a layering piece during the winter.

Many people were turned onto Ohio Against the World during Ohio State’s big National Championship win this year. It’s a fun shirt that always turns heads. If you’re from the Buckeye state, you should seriously consider picking one up. Quality materials and a really great company. They have other products as well like hats, hoodies and accessories.

These pieces combined with my black coated denim, Nike Solarsoft Mocs and this workman’s jacket from Vans and it’s a look that’s understated but still unique.

Be comfy, be happy fellas!
