Saturday night I went and saw Avengers: Age of Ultron in 4DX with my lady and LOVED it. For those unfamiliar with 4DX, it’s essentially like a simulator you’ve probably ridden at your local amusement park. The chairs move, there are sounds in your headrest, air blowing into your face, scents and lights, to boot. For a film like the Avengers sequel, it’s a really fun experience because of the action packed sequences happening almost constantly. Check it out, I’m pretty sure that LA Live downtown is the only place in town right now doing this. Also with that being said, I decided to theme my post as one of the Avengers, Bruce Banner himself, the Incredible Hulk.

Obviously I’ve been more than overt in my love for mono-chromatics lately. There’s just something about wearing one solid color that appeals to me. This wide neck shirt from Zara matches these Pennystock trousers from Urban so well, I’ve definitely rocked this all green combo before. Pairing a nicer t-shirt with some trousers or chinos as opposed to jeans is a new thing for me and I’ve been really loving the step up in class.

When going for color unification don’t forget that it’s totally cool to contrast the central pieces of your outfit with other colors. Don’t feel like everything you put onto your body has to be the same color. This hat from Urban and these double monk strap suede shoes from Zara seemed like a cool way to stick within the realm of earth tones while still also standing out in a fun way.

I catch flack sometimes, but I’m a huge fan of beanies. It doesn’t matter what month of the year it is or even if it’s kind of hot out. For me, it’s not so much about the function of them keeping me warm but about the function of covering my bed head. They’re crazy comfortable, look cool and don’t cover my face the way a billed hat would. If you’re a fan of something, wear it, plain and simple!

Has anyone else seen Avengers 2 yet? What were your thoughts?

Stay happy, my friends!
