So, I want to start making a weekly post about all my favorite lunch spots in LA. There seem to be an infinite amount of restaurants in town, some of which I’ve eaten, a lot of which I have not. This will be my platform to share fun, new or interesting places that I try.
I wanted to do a quick spotlight on Mendocino Farms, being that it’s one of, if not THE favorite sandwich of mine in the whole city.
We went to the location on Fairfax and 3rd, across from the Farmer’s Market. I love this place, from the decor, the friendly service, the delicious food and decent prices, you can’t go wrong.
I always get the same thing, the Prosciutto and Chicken Sandwich: fresh prosciutto, tomato, chicken, candied almonds, fresh mozzarella, basil pesto and vinegar, all pressed on ciabatta bread into a panini!
They have all sorts of other amazing foods ranging from salads, sandwiches, fresh sides, etc. You can check out their MENU by clicking the link. They’re vegetarian and vegan friendly, as well.
This is also a great first date spot. It’s public, lively, and has plenty of things to distract you from your date if you’re not feeling it, ha!
There’s tons of great indoor/outdoor seating, great location for people watching and overall just a great vibe!
