From time to time, I’m going to end up ranting because we’ve come to a point in our world where voicing opinions to other people face to face is deemed as judgmental, which is stupid in and of itself.

I digress…so, dudes, stop wearing a brown belt with black shoes or a black belt with brown shoes! It’s Style 101. Not only does it look sloppy but any girl who cares about how a guy looks is going to notice and realize that you need some help (which maybe they’ll like, on second thought, they’re always wanting to fix us).

The rest of your outfit is irrelevant here. You just need to be sure to match these two items. Owning two belts is not too much to ask. Being the type of guy who normally wouldn’t care about this type of thing is inexcusable in 2014, taking the one extra step to match them up is only going to make a positive statement for your look.

Even if you’re wearing sneakers, match them the best you’re able. I promise it’s not going to be too “matchy” or make you look like you’re trying to hard.

Bottom line, the ladies or fellas (AGC is equal opportunity) will notice and appreciate you taking the extra step to look good for them.

If not for them, do it for yourself!

I'm Parker York Smith, a curious dude still very much figuring everything out. I hail from the Midwest but have been dwelling in Los Angeles for the last few years being a pretty stereotypical west coast transplant. I'm a fashion geek, I love to walk (a LOT) and I do my best to find the bright side. I'm extremely excited about this blog and hope that (with some hard work and luck) it turns into what I believe it can.
