Spring is a fun time for fashion. The weather is still fluctuating enough that you can wear a bunch of different types of pieces. One thing that I ALWAYS love about spring is the ability to bust out my lightweight jackets. Whether it’s a linen blazer, a cotton bomber or this raw cone denim chore coat from LC King, I know that I’m going to have the opportunity to layer my look, which I love.
Traditionally, a denim jacket is built and styled in a specific way. Most classic denim jackets from Levi’s or Gap will have a similar structure. What I love about this one is the fact that it’s built differently. The pockets are different and the waistline is totally straight. Essentially what I’m saying is that even if you already own a denim jacket (or three, whoops), a chore coat made from denim is very different. It’s a great option if you’re doing something outdoorsy, too. This jacket will withstand some pretty serious wooded hikes and only break in more beautifully thanks to the raw denim. Also, don’t shy away from a jacket because it’s stiff on the rack. That only means that once you break it in it’s going to be fit just for your form.
Jackets are a major spring essential in my opinion, and you’d be happy in this one. That’s for sure. Check it out at www.lcking.com. Wear it with khakis, shorts or jeans.
